The Zags are now part and parcel of the tournament, but before 1999, only basketball die-hards knew of the little Jesuit school in Spokane. The Bulldogs' run of 15 straight tourneys began here, when Richie Frahm and Casey Calvary carried No. 10 Gonzaga to upsets of Minnesota, Stanford, and Florida before falling to UConn in the Elite Eight. Surprisingly, it remains Gonzaga's deepest tournament run.
