Day excels at almost winning the Masters. In 2011, he finished second to Charl Schwartzel and he took third last year. This year, the Aussie has won the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship – after an epic playoff battle with Victor Dubuisson – and finished second at the Farmers Insurance Open. Given that he's only started three events, that's not bad. Currently fourth in the World Golf Rankings, Day was forced to withdraw from the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship due to an injured thumb and took the last six weeks off from the tour. If time has healed his wounds and his form is where he left it in February, Day could find himself not only wearing a Green Jacket but also trying on a new title: World Number One.
