Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California
There's no shortage of body-rocking thrills in the urban jungle of L.A., but the Tatsu coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia is probably the only way to experience one of the zero-gravity roll variety. Capping out at 170-feet tall, this flying coaster (where riders are left to dangle face-down instead of vertically) features a stomach-churning three minutes of active ride time while experiencing upwards of 4Gs. Over the course of your time spent in Tatsu's grasp, you'll soak up a stunning mix of sprawling mountains, lush trees, and blue skies right-side up and upside down alike. The 124-foot pretzel loop is the ride’s hallmark, but when combined with the height of the mountain it’s built on, riders experience a 263-foot elevation change.
