Like Her MVP Dad, Riley Curry Can't Miss

Sometimes, watching athletes conduct post-game interviews can feel like watching a child. Other times, watching a child conduct a post-game interview can feel like watching pure gold. Thanks to Stephen Curry's daughter we were able to enjoy the latter Tuesday evening after the Golden State Warriors clinched Game 1 of the Western Finals.

Curry, who came in clutch more than once during the 110-106 win by hitting some impressive shots — including a contested buzzer-beater — was out-shined by only one person on or off the court last night: his 2-year-old daughter, Riley. When Curry told her to stay off stage and to "stand right there" before speaking to reporters, she instead demanded her place on the throne of dad's lap. After regally waving to the field of journalists, she continued her rule as King Curry's princess by telling him, "you're too loud, daddy! Be quiet."

Then, as the interview and journalists became blasé, she decided to go hide in her fort, which happened to be the press interview table. The Warrior's official Twitter account posted this photo of the moment, captioning it "A picture truly is worth a thousand words." Curry later joked: "She is just like this! She's only two — it's the craziest thing ever."

A young Steph Curry often stole the spotlight from his father Dell, a former Sixth Man of the Year for the Charlotte Hornets whose beautiful jumpshot is only eclipsed by his son. Here's hoping Riley's potential turn in the NBA continues the sharp-shooting lineage.
