Don’t make exercise punishment

Instead, find ways to incorporate more calorie-burning into the activities they already enjoy. Saunders recommends “commercial-size” to his clients: Every time a commercial comes on, kids have to exercise for the entire break, performing push-ups, jumping jacks, running in place, jumping rope. If it keeps them moving, it’s fair game.
