Diamond Push-Ups

Why It Works: "They focus on the mid-chest and are extremely challenging," says New York–based trainer Courtney Paul, adding that since your hands are so close together, you’re isolating the work to a very small spot.

How to Do It: Start in a regular push-up position with your arms under your shoulders, your back straight, and your toes on the ground. Walk your palms in toward each other, until your thumbs and index fingers are touching. Lower yourself, making sure to keep your back straight, then push back up.
