  • Dont look down.

Workers put the finishing touches on Amangiri's new attraction for prospective adrenaline junkies: a 230-foot-long sky bridge over a 400-foot canyon.

  • A jungle gym for adults.

I say via, you say ferrata!  This Italian invention translates to 'iron road' and allows climbers to safely navigate the steep canyon walls using a system of ladders and fixed cables.

  • Clip in or else.

Using the via ferrata system is completely safe when clipped into the network of fixed cables, even if you're hundreds of feet off the ground.

  • Don't go it alone.

It may seem like it's just a simple climb up a giant jungle gym, but the via ferrata is challenging enough that visitors are required to be accompanied by guides on all routes.

  • Hold that pose (and the cable).

Host Ryan Van Duzer climbs his way up a narrow canyon wall while videographer Scott Johnson films from above.

  • Look ma, no hands?

Although you can't see any blur in this photo, the cameraman is surely shaking in fear.  This is what peering down 400 feet into a canyon looks like!

  • Does this canyon make me look fat?

Van Duzer wanders through the tight walls of Secret Canyon, a network of slot canyons on a Navajo reservation near Page, Utah.

  • Like a glove.

This unique canyon system was formed by millions of years of water erosion and can be up to 100 feet deep in some places.

  • Go toward the light.

Certain sections of these canyons are hauntingly dark black because the openings up top are so narrow.

  • The desert's giant washing machine.

During a thunderstorm, these narrow canyons can instantly fill with rushing water. You don't want t be stuck in here when that happens or you'll get tossed around like a rag doll.

  • A lobby with a view.

The lobby at Amangiri has floor-to-ceiling windows that are way more impressive than any HDTV.  From morning to night, the view of the desert is breathtaking.

  • Pool scene.

Amangiri centers around the unique heated pool, which was built around these 160-million-year-old rocks in order to preserve the natural landscape.

  • Simply luxurious.

The suites at Amangiri are simple in design yet sophisticated and elegant.  Waking up in this bed and peering out at a desert sunrise is a magical experience.

  • Why, hello there.

The only peeping Toms sneaking a look while you bathe are coyotes and the occasional rattlesnake.

  • The rock-star-ready bathroom.

The bathrooms in each suite are spacious and wide open, with plenty of room for singing in front of the mirror.

  • Chill-out rooms.

Staying at Amangiri is so tranquil that sitting on the sofa and reading is considered a solid day's work.

  • Everybody in the heated pool!

The heated pool is a highlight of Amangiri, especially when it's 20 degrees outside.  What you don't see around the corner is a hot tub, which is pure heaven on a cold winter night.

  • The Aman spa.

The world class spa features massage rooms with endless views of the desert.  Falling into a relaxing trance is easy here.

  • How to keep warm on a cold winter's night.

It actually gets quite cold in the desert during the winter months, and these cozy fireplaces are a welcome feature, not to mention a perfect backdrop when enjoying a Hot Toddy.

  • A Bond-worthy hideoout.

Amangiri blends in perfectly with the surrounding desert, creating an environment very much in tune with nature.

  • Hello, welcome to heaven.

This stunning imagery smacks you right in the face as you walk toward Amangiri's main lobby.
