Q: What’s the final word on microwaves? Safe or unsafe?

A: The government ensures that microwaves sold today will not emit enough radiation to harm you. But be careful about the containers you’re using to reheat your food. I avoid cheap plastic ones, since those can leach cancer-causing toxins, and instead I always stick with glass or ceramic to heat up leftover spaghetti for me and my boys.
