Tues 1/10: Taboo (FX Network)
Tom Hardy partnered with Locke writer Stephen Knight and his father, Edward, to create this forthcoming British drama. Set in 1814 the eight-episode miniseries follows adventurer James Keziah Delaney, played by Hardy, who returns home to Britain after being believed to be lost in Africa. But as he starts to rebuild his life and take over his late father’s shipping empire, he discovers that there are enemies all around. The Killing director Dane Kristoffer Nyholm helms the first few episodes, which bodes well, in addition to a fantastic supporting cast featuring Michael Kelly, Jonathan Pryce, Oona Chaplin, and David Hayman.
