For the Kids
“One of the things I did with my family recently was to take my kids, 7 and 9, to see the movie Boss Baby. It’s an animated movie where Alec Baldwin basically plays his Glengarry Glenn Ross character, and it was great because it was a kids movie that for once didn’t have some horrible, heartbreaking scene that made my kids cry. Because for whatever reason, Hollywood thinks that in order for a kids movie to be real there needs to be a dead brother or parent at the end. Or animals. But mainly parents. I don’t know why, but I highly recommend not killing off key characters in children’s movies. Well thank god this one was enjoyable and nobody was weeping uncontrollably at the end of it."
