The Darjeeling Limited (2007)
A motorcycle accident inspires Francis (Owen Wilson) to drag his two brothers along on a journey of self-discovery, bringing them back together after years of estrangement. But that doesn’t stop the trio from jumping on the back of a Hero Honda to cruise through the Rajasthan Desert on the journey to their mother’s convent. The movie makes it clear there are many great ways to see India, but on the back of a 100cc bike is undoubtedly the best, if you can handle the traffic.
The Best Scene: The three riding on one bike conversing as they pass through Rajasthan is the kind of road trip only Wes Anderson could dream up.
