Fri 11/4: 'The Ivory Game' (Netflix)
The plight of the African elephant has been documented before, but never in such a captivating and thrilling way. Following a number of brave souls during their harrowing conservation efforts, directors Kief Davidson and Richard Ladkani traveled across the world to expose the darkest corners of the illegal ivory trade. Backed by environmentalists like Paul Allen and Leonardo DiCaprio, the streaming service is the perfect home for The Ivory Game. This is a documentary that plays out like a Scorsese crime thriller, and in the end is even more provoking, because the victims are real.
