It is a pretty undeniable fact that there is an incredible amount of food waste that goes on in this country, both at restaurants and our very own kitchens. This culinary series looks to inspire people to take a second look at the scraps that they throw out and contemplate on how they could be sourced for another meal. Chef and series host Joel Gamoran travels across America and creates meals out of discarded items. “Food waste is such a huge problem in this country and more and more people want to do something about it,” says executive producer Katie Couric.
