We feel like evangelists about these slacks, the 60/30 Chinos from Outlier, a company that's made an impressive name for itself in less than four years by crafting clothes for active people who don't feel like sacrificing style just because they're on a bike or a hiking trail (or while under a car or up a tree – its clothes are that durable).

While these should technically be called 64/29/7 pants – for the percentage of cotton, micro-denier nylon, and elastane from which they're constructed – the name isn't important. The simple fact is that you can do any of the above and a lot more while wearing these: They're rainproof, stain-proof, flexible, super-breathable, and incredibly durable. Plus, they're cut perfectly enough to facilitate a hike/bike/dinner party triathlon. Truth be told, you might have pajamas that are less comfortable than these slacks. [$225; shop.outlier.cc]
