For the best of B.C.'s late-season powder, you can head to Whistler with the spring-breakers. Or you can hop a direct flight from L.A., Seattle, or Vancouver and take refuge at the crowd-free Revelstoke Mountain Resort. At 5,620 vertical feet, it offers the longest ski run in North America – equal to two of California's Mammoth Mountains stacked atop one another. Through open bowls and past old-growth hemlocks, you'll have the terrain mostly to yourself. "The hikes into Greely Bowl are a local's secret," says resident and pro skier Greg Hill. "In the spring, the snow stays nice and fresh."
