An hour north of Cabo San Lucas is the laid back town of Todos Santos, a throwback to what the Baja was like forty-years ago with surfers, stoners, and senoritas. Unfortunately that may be changing soon; a new highway is attracting developers, so visit soon before it becomes overrun. The endless and empty Pacific beaches will invite you to kick back and relax. The best is Playa Los Cerritos outside of town but watch for the rip tides notorious on the Baja. If you are looking to ride the waves Mario Surf School will teach you what you need to know. The downtown is home to over twenty artist galleries and numerous places to grab a drink. The Los Colibris offers two houses and two casitas right of the beach.
Getting There: Fly into Cabo san Lucas and either rent a car or catch a taxi north to Todos Santos.
