In the Midwest, people drink for the season. That means there's an incredible variety of beers available that are perfectly paired with the heat, cold, sunshine, or frigid dark of winter. This diversity was on display in Chicago, Illinois at the fourth stop of the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp tour. Here, from the event, are some of our favorite regional pours.
3 Floyds Brewing Co.'s: Yum Yum
The Brewery: 3 Floyds Brewing Co., the originators of the bottle release festival, Dark Lord, this brewery is known as much for their hop profiles as they are their barrel aged arts in Munster, Indiana.
The Beer: Yum Yum

Tasting Notes: The newest pale ale in a long history of hopped-up, aggressive profiles, but with a bit more malt in the back of this one. They don't tell you what hops are in them anymore, so we can only wonder.
