The bands on fitness trackers can get pretty funky after a few workouts — especially those that make no waterproof claims. Wipe a band made of rubber with a damp cloth, then dry it. Treat the touch screens like those on a smartphone: wipe them with a mixture made of a 1:1 ratio of 70 percent isopropyl rubbing alcohol and distilled water. Clean any ports with a dry toothbrush.
