How to Play: Similar to bocce ball, a lawn darts set consists of four large, weighted darts (two per team), and a ring. Set the ring up several meters away and alternate throws. The object is to get as many in the ring as possible. Successful throws for each team cancel each other out.
Why It's Awesome: Lawn darts was subject to controversy in the 1980s after its popularity dwindled from several accidents, but is now back — and much safer. With the dull, metal edges gone, this game can be fun for all ages. Save the dartboard in the man cave for halftime during Sunday Night Football this fall. While the sun's still warm and shining, take your darts outdoors.
