Nussbaum works with Fit Brains Trainer, so he obviously is a fan. The reason he chose to work with this app is because he says it fits in well with his personal holistic perspective on brain fitness. "The brain is much more than just a cognitive tool," says Nussbaum. "It's an emotional tool, it's a motor tool. It does things like imagine and dream and all these functions. So cognition is important but that's not the whole story." He says Fit Brains is unique because it promotes a comprehensive approach to brain health, acknowledging the fact that exercise and a good diet may be just as vital for brain health as mental stimulation.
