Twice a year, outdoor gear companies descend on Salt Lake City with their most innovative offerings. At the Winter Show, we get to try out new helmet cameras, winter coats, and, of course, the latest shred-worthy skis. In the summer, however, we get to bask in the Utah sun on bikes, paddleboards, and trails and try out the newest backpacks, shells, and tents. We pored over the wares from hundreds of exhibitors, found our favorite items, and narrowed our list down to 12 things we want to take home right now.
NEMO's Wagontop Tent
A large four-person tent with around 100 square feet of living space, the Wagontop is perfect for families. A simple two-pole hub system means setting up the tent and taking it down is a snap, while the vertical walls and 78-inch standing height interior makes it comfortable and easy to keep clean. The adaptable door system and large windows make privacy, ventilation, and insulation easy to adjust. Paired with Nemo’s Victory Blanket, a picnic or beach blanket with waterproof backing, fits perfectly on the floor of the tent and offers a warm, inviting, carpeted feel.
