EXPERT ADVICE

Sportswear Fit for Adventure and the Coffee Shop

If nobody knows you by the number on your back, there's little need to dress in Lycra every time you hop on a bike or hit the trail. That said, your performance wear must offer the technical properties you require to go hard (such as wicking and stretch). It just doesn't have to advertise the fact. Brands as diverse as Black Diamond and Nike get that — and they are adding more casual adventure wear to their collections. In fact, some of our favorite things to put on for cycling, hiking, and running feel so comfortable — and look so sharp — you'll turn to them for everyday use as much as for workouts.
