You've probably heard about (or even ridden) the famed Colorado Trail - the Kennebec Pass near Durango is a popular section - but there are plenty of better-hidden gems on this 483-mile singletrack in the sky. A sample three-day itinerary might start with endless descents off Kenosha and Georgia passes, followed by an Avalanche Ale and buffalo burger at the Breck Brewery and the outdoor hot tub at the Lodge and Spa at Breckenridge. The next day cross Searle Pass and descend into the 10th Mountain Division's ruined Camp Hale, and relax with a soak at Cottonwood Hot Springs. Day 3: Rip through aspen groves at the foot of the 14,000-foot Collegiate Peaks on your way to Salida and a recovery burrito the size of your head at Fiesta Mexicana.
