Nebraska: Flex Your Muscle Car
On June 30, over 200 muscle cars, antique roadsters, and modern sports cars will parade the streets of Kearney, having arrived in separate convoys from New York and San Francisco at the midpoint of the transcontinental Lincoln Highway. While round-trip convoy registration is closed, you can drive your own chariot to the citywide party and then join a new gang – a few road warriors are driving until they reach the opposite coast.
Getting there: Once you're a state or so away from Nebraska, Hwy. 30 is your best driving route to Kearney. Or fly straight to the Kearney Regional Airport.
