Start Tracking Purchases and Credit
If you aren’t already enrolled in a service that actively tracks your credit, do so now. Credit card companies and banks tend to offer credit tracking for a relatively small fee. This is the way to go, since free credit reporting is too sporadic to catch persistent fraud, and often too late to reverse certain charges. In addition, dive into your online banking and credit card accounts, and set up purchase alerts, which can trigger texts or emails whenever activity crosses some designated dollar amount.
