The idea of spring cleaning might not be on your radar — a remnant of that hectic time when the women in your life told you to dust the things you owned and inexplicably wasted the year's first warm weekend indoors organizing your life, stowing or tossing seasonal items, and fluffing and folding various things around the house. But now you're a grown-up, and you have your own place, and that pile of stuff is bothering you. Don't worry. There are some (relatively) painless ways to participate in this annual ritual without sacrificing too much time or money, while sprucing up your space and upgrading your storage options. But it's probably still a good idea to dust your things, too.
