Apps of the Year 2012
With more than 750,000 iOS apps in Apple's App Store at last count – and just as many in the Google Play store for Android devices – it's getting harder and harder to keep track. We've spent hours – maybe days – playing around with dozens of apps this year, and here are eight of our favorites, covering everything from fitness and productivity to adventure and photography. All of these have either launched or been significantly updated in 2012.
