In a land with no shortage of breathtaking landscapes or scenic routes, picking a less-traveled road to put atop a visitor's must-see list might seem impossible. But Kim didn't hesitate when asked. "There's one road in Hawaii that's especially perfect for motorcycling: the Kalanianaole Highway," he says. "If you go all the way east on the island, it turns into a single-lane road. It's on the coastline and it weaves in and out of mountains along the way up to the north shore. That's my favorite ride." Fun fact: Our current president's much ballyhooed birth certificate lists his address as number 6085 along that very road.
