Alcohol and Orgasms
Alcohol dulls our senses in many ways, including the sensitivity of nerve endings that register sexual pleasure. This can make the entire sexual process less satisfying and seems to contribute to both men and women having a harder time reaching orgasms after drinking. One study even found that drinking had a negative effect on pillow talk. Drinking couples got less benefit out of their conversations, thought they were less positive, and were more likely to disclose information unintentionally.
