You don't need to have Parkinson's disease (or any neurological problem) to download and use the mPower app. It builds on the Parkinson's Voice Initiative, a revolutionary test that detects Parkinson's disease with a phone call.
For those who have the disease, the app will help track and record symptoms like balance issues, gait and dexterity problems. You'll take tests and see how your results change over time. And, researchers will use the data (encrypted, so it remains anonymous) to study how the disease progresses and develop early interventions.
