Take some unpeeled onions, potatoes, and peppers and wrap them in foil. Dig a hole in the ash and embers, tuck in the vegetables, and cover with more ash and embers. Dig them back up 20 minutes later, and you've got the perfect savory side for all that wood-fired flesh.
