How to Do Yoga at Your Desk

Your job can take its toll on your body, whether it's from your chair, heavy lifting, or hours of sedentary work. Rodney Yee, a renowned yoga instructor who has been teaching for more than 26 years, thinks that our problems can be fixed with a little office yoga. In his new DVD, 'Rodney Yee's Yoga for Energy & Stress Relief,' produced by Gaiam, Yee shows how small moves that you can do at your desk can give you some of the benefits of a full yoga class – in some cases, without even needing to get up off the chair. "The biggest problem with office workers is a sedentary body," says Yee. "Movement is so important, not only to our respiratory system, but to our circulatory system as well." Here are three things that Rodney says you can do in the office to remain healthy and prevent stress, pain, and lack of energy.
