Never Worry About a Hot Car
If you need to leave your dog in the car while you grab lunch, don't just roll the windows down and hope it doesn't get too hot. Kearney says that if he's running into a coffee shop, he'll just ask someone to watch Eko or give someone money to go buy what he needs. "When you have a dog with you on the road, you're everyone's best friend. People are really willing to help you out." But if there's no one around, Kearney always keeps a spare car key in his car. This way he can leave the engine and air conditioning running but keep the doors locked.
