Our Brand is Crisis
Few realize the highly anticipated George Clooney–produced Our Brand is Crisis, starring Sandra Bullock, was inspired by a 2005 documentary of the same title. Directed by Rachel Boynton, the eye-opening doc spotlights the tactics used by marketing firm Greenberg Carville Shrum to sway the results of the 2002 Bolivian presidential election. It's an important analysis of the public relations side of any campaign in a democratic nation, and it parallels the strategies used in the U.S. Even though the 2015 feature pulls its plot straight from the documentary, it's safe to say both editions are worth a viewing.
