Wilier Centro 1SR
Over the past year, five racers have ridden Wilier bikes to U.S. national road titles. Which is to say, the Wilier Cento 1SR is pure-bred race machine. The carbon fiber frame is built for speed with an over-sized bottom bracket and downtube, making for a stiff pedaling platform. That should mean that more power from the rider goes to propelling the bike forward and less energy is lost in the frame flexing.
The Cento 1SR offers ports for internal cable routing compatible with either mechanical or electronic shifting. On the front end, the Cento 1SR has an integrated fork, a design Wilier believes gives the bike more precise handling for sprinting and cornering. The Cento 1SR will include Shimano's high-end Dura-Ace drivetrain components. [$5,500; wilier-usa.com]
