"Venice Beach isn't literally a boardwalk, but it's a pretty happening walkway," Lilliefors explains. Not too far from the Santa Monica Pier, most Californians prefer Venice boardwalk for the liveliness, sites, sounds, and incredible food from Sausage Kingdom and Schulzies. Watch a dance performance, join a pick up basketball game, or simply hang out and people watch. Locals like to use the boardwalk for their morning jog, making Venice a great place to meet California girls.
