Every September, the logging roads and woodsy singletrack of northern Wisconsin's Chequamegon National Forest host the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival's weekend of races and clinics. Beer lovers will appreciate the Oktoberfest-like atmosphere. If you don't snag one of the festival's 2,500 lottery spaces, you may be out of luck, but there are still plenty of trails to travel.
