New York is not wanting for ramen joints, that's for sure. Ippudo, Toto Ramen, and numerous places in Queens only scrape the surface of how many different places one can go for tasty broth and noodles. But Chuko in Brooklyn deserves more than just a shout-out for its seasonally driven menu and its hip atmosphere. The menu can't go wrong in the hands of these chefs, with these classic ingredients of kimchi, pork bone broth, and exquisite local vegetables. Across the street is an equally good spin-off restaurant called Bar Chuko, an after-work drinks and snack spot with small and diverse plates, but the original will still warm you incomparably.
