In an effort to rebuild its brand image in the U.S. and China, the Continental name is back. Once again the top-of-the-line luxury saloon following a 13-year absence, the Continental, which replaces the MKS, is devoid of any obvious retro throwbacks. Simply put: it's stylish, purposeful, stately, and plush. Powered by a three-liter V6 EcoBoost, the car of presidents is unmistakable thanks to a stunning rectangular mesh grille, its shiny chrome patterned with miniature replicas of Lincoln's logo. The entire car is painstakingly smooth; even the door handles are hidden beneath a narrow strip of chrome. Inside, chrome, lambswool, leather, and suede abound (of note, the seats adjust in 30 ways and massage up to the shoulders).
