Best City/Utility Bike
Winner: Breadwinner Cycles
Breadwinner is owned by Tony Pereira and Ira Ryan, stalwarts of the Portland, Oregon bike scene and two of the finest framebuilders (and fastest riders) in the business. The pretty-in-pink city bike is a standard Breadwinner model called the Arbor Lodge, and it won the prize for Best City/Utility Bike for its perfect blend of form and function. The welds and finishing are divine, but this bike's heart lies in features like it's dynamo self-generating light system, fenders, disk brakes, and custom porteur front rack. The "hers" of a "his and hers" special order, this bike will soon make its way from the showroom to its happy owner.
