The Wildcats may not have the small-school pedigree of some of the members on this list, but their improbable title run has more to do with the team they beat and the way they played than their seed (which was eight, the lowest to ever win the championship). Up against powerful Georgetown, which was looking for its second straight title, Villanova put together a near-perfect game, shooting 79 percent to stun the Hoyas 66-64.
