E69 to the North Cape, Norway
Pedraita's most recent feat took him from the base of Scandinavia clear to the Northern tip of Norway above the Arctic circle, in the middle of frigid winter, naturally, just to make it interesting. "If you imagine a Christmas picture of the North Pole, endless forests and pure white snow and sunlight, it's just special. Along the border of Finland, gliding in the clear night, were stunning views of the aurora borealis." The price for entry into this winter wonderland isn't cheap though, and Pedraita doesn't mince words. "It's so cold we had to have a hangar for the bike or it would freeze. You first have to get over the pain of cold. It's real pain. But if you can then you'll survive it."
