N14 From Marrakech through Western Sahara
In preparation for his upcoming all-continent circumnavigation of the glove, Pedraita took off on a two week journey through the Sahara encompassing some 3,000 miles. Once outside cities he found the desert landscape enchanting but also terrifying. "You're driving alone, you feel so small, like you're nothing," he recalls. "You have no idea where you are and see nothing but the desert on all sides. It's like another planet, another world."
