Where to Stop: The Seaway Trail offers a unique balance of outdoor pursuits and cities to explore. Check out Erie, Cleveland, and Buffalo to enjoy the full Rust Belt experience. In Pennsylvania, experience the Quaker State's north east wine country, near Erie. In New York, make sure to take full advantage of the Great Lakes' freshwater attractions, the most obvious being the Niagara Falls, (nicer on the Ontario side), or further up in Fort Ontario, an old stronghold from the French and Indian War sitting on the beautiful Lake Ontario.
