Nearly any notification our phone received – texts, alerts when our team scored, Facebook messages – was sent directly to Pebble's backlit, monochrome e-ink display. The waterproof watch also let us control music and get directions from Google Maps. It's simple to use, connects to both iPhones and Android devices, and has great battery life, but it's still missing some of those cooler innovations, including a touchscreen and voice control.
