Underwood Pinot Noir
Union Winery in Oregon produces three wines, a Rose, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir, in bottles and cans. Broglie proclaimed the Pinot Noir "imminently drinkable," with cranberry, light cola, sassafras, and herbal notes. "It's important to note that this wine displays typical characteristics of a Pinot Noir from Oregon," he said. "Being in a can doesn't affect it at all." The 375 ml size is equivalent to half a bottle of wine, though. "I'd be concerned about traipsing around the woods with this can," Broglie said. "It's like three beers at once." He recommends it as a camping trip wine; stick the can in the stream to keep it cool, and share it.
