No bar is complete without two bottles of vermouth – one dry, one sweet. A Martini is best served with a splash of dry vermouth. Sweet vermouth is a necessity in a Manhattans and Negronis. While most vermouths will do for mixed drinks, a great vermouth – like Atsby's Armadillo Cake – can stand up all on its own.
