If you were to ask the geniuses at Pixar to dream up their version of an NFL quarterback, they'd end up with Tim Tebow. Already the most famous backup QB in history for his bravura performance last season, Tebow is all the more interesting for his public faith coupled with movie-star good looks.
Now, all eyes will turn to the Big Apple this season as Tebow brings his mythology – and a little of that magic – to the New York Jets. Whatever his role – wildcat quarterback, short-yardage specialist, special teams all-star – you can be sure it'll depend on Tebow's legendary work ethic. Turns out that contrary to popular wisdom, Tebow's excellence wasn't created in a lab or Hollywood script, but through tireless hard work and dedication. We were invited recently to join Tebow for a workout, where the man with the golden arm shared some of the very fitness tips he's depended on for his success, as well as a few of his favorite spots around the globe. All while proving he really is that nice a guy. Launch Gallery >>

Count Tebow in with your health teacher and your mom as people who can't nag you enough about the importance of that first meal of the day. "It's so important in just turning on your body," he says. "If you want to gain weight, build muscle, get stronger, it starts with breakfast." As you'd expect from a pro athlete, that doesn't involve Pop-Tarts. "'I'm pretty strict on my diet, what I eat and what I consume," he says. "I usually have breakfast around 5:50 and that'll consist of about six egg whites, fruit, oatmeal." But even the great Tim Tebow has his crutch. "I probably eat more cereal than any other 24-year-old," he admits. "Almost every day I drink close to a gallon of milk, starting when I was about eight years old."
