1927 Mercedes-Benz S Rennsport
This stunner won the Spirit of the Tour award, which is chosen by Concours organizers as the driver-and-car pairing that exhibited most spirit during the 200-mile Highland Tour. With its triple-side exhausts, it's the first of the famous S-Type racing cars built in 1927 by Ferdinand Porsche. This particular beauty is one of only six made with aluminum racing bodywork. While this large car could accommodate five part-time, it sat low thanks to its underslung rear suspensions, which made it very manageable on the track.
