1939 Delahaye Type 165 Touring
The French government chose this teardrop-style ride to represent France at the 1939 New York World's Fair. The work of Parisian coachbuilders Figoni et Falaschi was immortalized thanks to its vivid color, two-tone design motifs, voluptuous shape, and exotic car appeal. While it initially came unequipped with an engine, it later was fitted with a Cadillac V-8 — and eventually properly reunited with the original V-12, acquired from France. Only three remain of this model.
